Dr. James Lassiter offers comprehensive diagnostic assessments and psychological testing for children and adults such as neuropsychological (for ADHD and Autism Spectrum, Traumatic Brain Injuries and dementia), emotional conflicts and traumas, competence and test batteries for intellectual academic achievement.We provide these evaluations for a wide range of clients from children to the elderly, referred through many sources, to assess their status in daily functional capacities or other concerns, such as their level of risk to themselves and others. We conduct psychosocial and mental status examinations, providing assessments which are carefully determined and include current in depth interviews, family and other agency input (when available).Dr. Lassiter is acknowledged as an expert in the field of clinical psychology and in diagnostics as a past associate clinical professor (Adelphi University, NY) and by the American Board of Professional Psychology (APA). Dr. Lassiter  is privileged to work with many school districts, juvenile and probation services, as well as collaborating with colleagues of other medical specialties (bariatric, orthopedic, pediatric and pain specialists). Initiating therapeutic services always begins with an assessment of the client’s needs and problems and the establishment of a treatment plan based on the assessment. If services are recommended, Dr. Lassiter works with you or your other service providers to tailor those additional services.
